Properties of Information

Information is data that is processed into a form that is more useful and more meaningful to the receiving, describing an events (event) and a real unity (fact and eventity) and used to take the right decision.
A good information is said to have properties that will be accounted for and can be used as a guide for making a decision.

The properties must be owned by the information to be considered are the following components:
  1. Relevance - In connection with the company's objectives and depends on the users who need the information.
  2. Quantivitabilities - is a trait that gives numerical values ​​to objects or events
  3. Accuracy - The information carefully and error-called accurate (carefully)
  4. Density - Quantity of information that can be effectively processed by humans is very limited, so the information must be compressed before it is presented to the user.
  5. Ketepatam time - There are two related aspects, namely the frequency and slowness. Both are determined by the design of information systems
  6. Scope - The range of activities or responsibilities are covered by an information system indicates its scope.
